Understanding eCheck and ACH Payment Status

Problem:

eCheck/ACH tuition payments show 'Submitted' status instead of 'Approved' like credit card payments.

Solution:

This is normal behavior for ACH payments:

• Credit card payments: Show 'Approved' immediately
• eCheck/ACH payments: Show 'Submitted' initially, then update to 'Approved' once processed

Processing Timeline:

ACH payments typically take 3-5 business days to process (not including holidays or weekends).

The 'Submitted' status will automatically update to 'Approved' once the payment clears.
